The Harmonyk team was inspired in a casual meeting by the two founders, Jesse Mann and Adam Weigold, bemoaning the failure of task management and project management apps for solo founders and small teams < 5 people. They both agreed that for small teams all key actions in a business are driven by the creation and sharing of key documents - and that nowadays 8 - 10 different document creation and management apps are needed. This has meant that early-stage founders and startups are now drowning in a plethora of documents and apps. And AI assistants and LLM services are just adding more documents quicker to the stack that needs to be managed.

 

We envision a future where business documents are managed by a single AI powered app that drives real actions. Our goal is to lead the way in AI-automated documents with a unique "document-first" operating system, shaping the founder landscape with improved efficiency, less clutter and document overload. By allowing AI analysis of existing documents to drive new tasks and actions, Harmonyk flips the design of traditional project and task management apps. Our AI-agnostic design philosophy leverages domain-trained ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini LLMs, and integrates seamlessly with GMail, Google, Office, Adobe, Box, Notion and all other leading document apps. Long term we aim to add Web3 guardrails to this AI-powered DocOS for micro-teams, to allow it to scale to enterprise-class applications.
